Distinguished speakers from across the ASEAN region and beyond will share insights and innovations to advance sustainable fisheries and marine resource management.
The latest education Mr. Trenggono was the S-2 Masters of Development Study Program in the School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development, Bandung Institute of Technology, and is currently studying S-3 at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology.
As an expert in international maritime law, he once led the 20th UNCLOS Conference in New York and was the Head of the Indonesian Delegation in the submission of the extension of the continental shelf to the UN (2007–2010), a role that is closely related to Indonesia’s maritime territory and marine resources.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Matsuishi has authored over 146 scientific publications, accumulating more than 1,300 citations. His areas of expertise include fish stock assessment, fisheries management, and cetology—the study of marine mammals.
His expertise extends to international collaborations, working with organizations such as the Southeast Asia Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) to manage fisheries resources.
Dr. Nordin has contributed to various studies, including research on microbial populations in sea cucumbers and the effects of feed types on water quality and fish growth.
